Showings Agent - Part Time, Temp

We’re hiring a part-time showing agent for this upcoming busy season!

Summary:

  • April through end of August - 12hrs/week guaranteed

    • Optionally we may allow reduced time in April & May if planned during interview

    • Possibility of up to 20hrs/week June through August

  • Must already have Property Management or Real Estate Agent License

  • Driver’s license and ability to drive required

  • $26-$30/hr, DOE. No experience necessary, license required.

  • In person & local position only

  • Part-time, temporary position, no benefits unfortunately

Woodham Property Management is currently seeking a Showings Agent to join our team of professionals in Bozeman, Montana.

Disposition for this Position:

Are you friendly and accepting? Do you enjoy meeting new people and seeing different homes and properties?

  • Friendly and cooperative: Expect to work with tenants, vendors, and the lead Property Manager to coordinate showings and handle some move-out / move-in related tasks.

  • Prompt and clear communication: During your working hours, we expect quick and clear messaging or calls. Outside of your working hours, we do not expect to contact you unless there is an emergency. Working hours are flexible, however, they need to be pre-defined and, on a calendar/scheduler.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to his/her lead Property Manager (PM).

  • Meet prospective tenants at a property and tour them through the property, answering questions regarding details of the home (the details will be provided).

  • “Close the deal” with prospects to help them turn in an application for the property.

  • Coordinate showing times with prospective tenants.

  • Perform condition report inspections of a home between tenants.

  • Copying keys, placing signage, and other duties as assigned during weeks when showings are light.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma; or equivalent.

  • Property management or real estate industry knowledge is a plus, though not required.

  • Ability to navigate homes with stairs and private spaces which are not ADA accessible.

  • Ability to drive to properties in the Gallatin Valley.

  • Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.

 Licenses/Certifications:

  • Montana Property Management License or Real Estate Agent license is required, CE to be reimbursed. Having a managing broker is not required as long as your license is current.

  • Driver's License (Required).

Abilities and Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Basic computer operation required.

  • Proficient in Outlook.

  • Problem solver: Suggests solutions to lead PM when problems arise.

  • Self-starter & Independent: Do not need reminding to start and complete tasks.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Part-time / Hourly. 12hrs – 20hrs per week, depending on workload.

  • Flexible Hours, within reason. You may select which hours per week you are available to do showings, coordinating with your lead as to which properties are shown and when.

  • Standard mileage rate reimbursement for travel to properties.

  • We will pay your CE this year

Schedule: Flexible, as long as tasks are done on time.

Ability to commute/relocate to:

Bozeman or Belgrade, Montana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

The bulk of this position can be performed remotely, many tasks require to travel to one of the properties located in Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhattan, Three Forks, and Livingston. No Big Sky travel!
